With an array of trendy restaurants and a variety of landscapes, Oregon has it all.  Oregon’s coastline offers phenomenal views of the young coast, as well as plenty of camping spots along the coast to let you enjoy those views. Today we are going to be going over some of our favorite camping spots in Oregon and what makes each place unique. Just be sure to bring your handy camera strap to help you capture all the fun!

Camping Spots in Oregon:

Our first camping spot is located about an hour and a half west of Portland and is known as Cannon Beach. Located right along the coast, campers can expect to have cooler weather during the evening and overcast beachy weather during the day. If this sounds ideal to you, be sure to book a site at Wright’s For Camping, a family-owned campground that offers campers the best experience out there.  Wright’s for Camping has 22 spacious campsites and offers picnic tables, fire rings, and showers. The place is also dog-friendly, so be sure to bring your furry friend along. Just remember to use a dog leash in areas that require it and pick up after your pet!

More Camping Spots in Oregon!:

As ideal as Cannon Beach sounds, there are many more camping spots in Oregon that will leave you breathless. This next spot is located in Crater Lake National Park and is known as Mazama Campground. Mazama Campground has been around for years and is one of the more popular spots to camp in the park. This beautiful campsite has fire rings, picnic tables, restrooms, and bear lockers. Grab a hammock and set it up along the trees or take a relaxing walk around the village located nearby. If camping in the middle of the forest is more your vibe, be sure to visit this amazing spot in Crater Lake National Park and be sure to use your handy camera strap while capturing all of the park’s beauty!

Hot Springs in Oregon:

The last spot we have on our list of camping spots in Oregon is known as Bagby Hot Springs and is one of our more relaxing camping locations on the list. Located in Mount Hood National Forest, these springs attract thousands of campers year-round. All sites are first-come, first-serve and include fire rings, toilets, and picnic tables. Just a hike away, you can find the natural hot springs that give this area its name. Campers must take a trail through the forest to discover the hot springs before taking a dip in these relaxing wonders. Always remember to use a camera strap and camera wrist strap when around water as you never know what might happen.
