Valentine’s Day Dining

Valentine’s Day is coming up quick which means more chocolate and flowers than one can handle. Along with all the gift buying, couples around the world spend time with their significant other celebrating at romantic destinations. We are going to be going over some of the top date spots for Valentine’s Day in the Greater Los Angeles area for all types of couples. Located in the downtown area of Long Beach sits the beautiful Queen Mary ship which offers guests an amazing view of the Long Beach skyline as well as a view of the harbor area. Once aboard the Queen Mary, guest will have three fine dining options each with their own unique taste; options include Sir Winston’s Café, The Promenade Café, and Chelsea Chowder Café. With access to all these restaurants, guests are able to pick the style of food they desire as well as the view they want to give them their perfect evening. Just make sure to make reservations early, as Valentine’s Day is a very popular time.

Hiking Opportunities:

For those couples who are a little more adventurous, Malibu and Los Angeles both offer rewarding hiking opportunities which are great spots for Valentine’s Day couples.  Tucked away right in between Malibu and Santa Monica is Topanga Canyon, which gives hikers multiple trail options ranging from 3 miles to 13 miles. Hikers are rewarded with an amazing view of the Manhattan coastline as well as views of both Los Angeles and their mountains. Just be sure to bring your handy camera strap and camera to capture this Southern California beauty! For those that enjoy an early start to their day, be sure to do this hike in the morning and then head down to Griffith Park to catch the sunset. Griffith Park offers both hikers and sightseers an amazing landscape of Downtown Los Angeles as well as a view of the pristine architecture found at Griffith. Griffith Park, being one of the most popular spots for Valentine’s Day, gets very busy so be sure to go early and get parking. If neither of these spots seems like your cup of tea, this last spot offers couples a casual and relaxing approach to the holiday.

Coast:

The last Valentine’s Day spot we are going to be highlighting is Sunset Beach which funny enough, is where our very own headquarters are located. This small beach city, located right in between Huntington Beach and Long Beach offers Valentine’s Day couples the perfect spot for a walk on the beach right before sunset. Couples can spend all day on the beach before catching the sunset or spend time shopping the trendy shops on Main Street which is located in Seal Beach just minutes away. Both cities offer great dining options such as Captain Jacks (American Fusion) and Mahé (Japanese Sushi and Ramen House), giving couples plenty of options to pick from. Whether it be fine dining on the Queen Mary or hiking in Malibu, there are plenty more spots for Valentine’s Day couples to spend together on this couples holiday. Find time to spend it with your special someone and be sure to use your tether camera strap to capture all the fun! Perfect for any Valentine’s Day outdoor activity when you need to free up your hands.
