Yup, it’s that time of the year again. Summer is coming to an end and for those of us still in school...well you know what that means. Even for those of us working, life can often be stressful and it can sometimes interfere with our lifestyle. Even though summertime is coming to an end, that doesn’t mean that those relaxing activities have too! Getting into photography is one way to help reduce stress, but there are many other ways that can help as well. Here are a couple of our favorite ways to help you reduce stress and life a care-free lifestyle!
Photography has been around for years and has helped people discover new ways to appreciate life. Capturing photos of nature and the outdoors is a great way to get you outside where it has been scientifically proven to help relieve stress. Going on a small hike or taking a day trip to the beach are both relaxing activities that you can bring your camera and camera strap to. Spending time in nature has been scientifically proven to help reduce stress hormones. Just the act of being outside has helped people appreciate life and our world more. Eating healthier also has huge benefits on individuals that are stressed out. Drinking chamomile tea before bed or green tea during the day can help improve brain function and sleep, ultimately leading to less stress. Meditation and yoga have been around for years and is a huge component for those who want to live a stress-free life. Both practices help one become aware of their body and environment which has been proven to reduce stress.
